Dr. John Brazil is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with a passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care in high-stakes environments. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Pre-Medical Studies from The Master’s University, where he also played collegiate baseball. He went on to receive his medical degree from the California University of Science and Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at UC Irvine.

Originally from Northern California, Dr. Brazil has long looked forward to returning to his roots. After graduating high school in 2013, he set his sights on serving communities like his own, and he is excited to join the Napa Valley Emergency Medical Group—a community-focused, physician-led democratic group that aligns with his values and career goals.

Outside of the emergency department, Dr. Brazil enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children. Whether it's fly fishing, camping, hunting, or rock climbing, he finds balance and inspiration in nature.
